Make up games will be on Sunday but nothing beyond October 15th (Final Sunday Make Up date available). Game schedules are designed to avoid (as much as possible) other youth sports such as soccer and football. Usually there is one practice per week, which is set by each team's manager.
RHAA would like to keep this an in-house league and play all of our games at our complex. Depending on participation, there may be a need to join Little League and travel to nearby towns to complete our schedules.
The focus of Fall Ball is developmental with less emphasis on competition and more emphasis on player improvement and having fun. This enables RHAA to offer instruction and games to returning players, as well as to those who were unable to play during the Spring season. In many cases, it also gives players exposure to the next level of play that they will be eligible for in the following Spring season.
The following table shows the Fall leagues and prices. Final league structures for any given year will depend on registration numbers for each group.
Please note that for fall ball we have extended the age range by plus/minus 6 months in many divisions to allow players the flexibility to "play up" or down by half a year if they would like.
Baseball for boys and girls
For kids new to the program or for first year T-ballers in the Spring. Designed for players who will be 4 or 5 year old players (born 3/1/11 to 8/31/13).
Softball teams will need to join Little League and travel to nearby towns to complete our schedules.
There are no tryouts to participate in the fall league. Players will be placed on teams by the Fall League Commissioner and coaches. For certain divisions, please provide honest self-assessment for a successful and positive experience for your child. We need volunteers for managing and coaching, so please indicate your interest on the registration form. The RHAA Board will select managers and coaches.
